Players this young won't know how to play basic defense

at the D1 level for quite awhile. Based on the lack of emphasis by kA they may not ever be very good on defense.

With that thought in mind I see no way they actually master any kind of coordinated, hard nosed D1 team defense. The kind of defense that can keep you in games when you only average 55 points on offense.

Team Defense with a bunch of veterans and a good defensive coach can be learned. We have neither.
