the true freshman who didn't get all the reps until he took over due to the unexpected misconduct of Mauk. Maybe if he had gotten the snaps in the fall camp, he would have been better prepared. To try to evaluate his skill under those circumstances, and label him a loser ("some guys just aren't ballers") is a might premature, I think.
We will see how much progress he makes under a more stable environment and better coaching. Keeping in mind the Oline was bad, the receivers were bad, and we had a light back who couldn't pound the ball down the field, I think we are reasonable in believing there will be significant improvement in points per game and total offense.
I don't think it's unreasonable to think we will easily double, and maybe come close to tripling points per game in the SEC, so long as everyone stays healthy. Can't guarantee it, but it's certainly in the realm of possibility.
