How is ou "garbage"? Just bcoz its not the most populous state doesn't mean it can't bring much value to SEC. I'm no fan of ou, but le'ts face it, it's historically Top Ten (or better) FB program and it's BB has been off and on pretty good too. If the SEC prides itself on a Power FB conference then adding these two only enhances that reputation.
With limited options, I see potential expansion as more than just a money game. As much as I dislike both ou and it, they are the best viable expansion candidates if the SEC goal is to get to 16
