have been a slap in the face, and everything he said and advocated was in favor of Trump and an attack on what Hillary stood for.

I can't imagine that a single person who liked Ted Cruz or what he said would have voted for Hillary Clinton if they "voted their consciences".

If no one had started a ruckus I would have interpreted his speech as an endorsement of Trump.

But apparently that must just be me.
