Myth 1 ut wins national title in 1938
After not being voted by the AP poll as the best team and being retroactively voted by a baking company Tennessee acclaimed the 1938 team as being the best.
Myth 2 ut wins their second national title in 1940
UT loses to Boston college in the Sugar bowl and is not even voted by the AP as the national champs.
Myth 3 ut wins national title in 1950
Not winning its own conference ut keeps on with this silly tradition of claiming national titles because a baking company said they were. Wow ut is even worse than ku and that's saying a lot.
Myth4 ut wins national title in 1951
After not playing Georgia Tech ( the real SEC champs) and losing its bowl ut decides "why not put another paper national title up" .
That's the ut tradition
