Had an offer.
I know Sneed was a top 100 guy, but some reason the staff liked Jackson more.
Sure occasionally there would be a year several really good players. Also have years where there is none. See Kreklow being the Gatorade player of the year.

2018 would be a super deep year of quality players.
2019 has fewer quality guys, but more elite players.
