basketball. Probably the closest example to what you are suggesting that I can think of was our 1982-83 team which started:

Jon Sundvold
Ron Jones
Mark Dressler
Greg Cavener
Steve Stipanovich

All of them were from Missouri, and MU went 26-8 and won the Big 8.
