M. Swimming. Tigers Conclude Action at Speedo Champions Series Sectional Meets
Members of the Mizzou swimming and diving team competed at the Speedo Champions Series Section (LCM) meets last week. A host of Tigers swam at the Central Section at Mizzou's Mizzou Aquatic Center, July 16-19, while two Tigers competed at the Western Sectional in Mt. Hood, Ore., July 15-19.
Thomas, Reedy qualify for U.S. Diving Championships
Missouri divers Clark Thomas and Lauren Reedy qualified for the U.S. Championships with wins over the weekend in the USA Diving Zone C National Preliminaries in Dallas.
M. Swimming. Clark Thomas Wins 3-Meter at USA Diving National Preliminaries
Mizzou diver Clark Thomas earned a spot at August's 2014 AT&T USA Diving National Championships with a win on the 3-meter at last weekend's USA Diving Zone C National Preliminaries at SMU's A.R. Barr Pool in Dallas, Texas. Thomas became the second Tiger diver to qualify for the National Championships, joining Lauren Reedy.
Baseball. Mizzou Baseball Announces Hitting Experience
Mizzou baseball has announced the Mizzou Hitting Experience, a brand new competitive learning experience for children in grades 5-12. The experience is designed to help baseball players learn and grow as hitters. Our belief is that we must learn how to compete and we must learn how to push ourselves to become great. With the hitting experience, hitters will have a great opportunity to do just that. We also believe that the guest speakers that you will have an opportunity to hear speak will offer some advice, encouragement, expertise, etc., that will hopefully translate to becoming a better baseball player.
