Killing diplomats and negotiators who are in the process of discussing potential peace agreements is unconscionable.
Qatar, a US ally, is only the latest example. Yes, they killed, or attempted to kill, Hamas leaders, but they were called together to discuss a potential peace agreement the US had proposed. That is duplicitous on our part, assuming we did indeed greenlight it.
It follows the same pattern as the attack on Iran. They're in discussions with the US & we allow, and allegedly help, Israel to do a surprise attack on the Iranian leaders and generals on Friday before they meet with Trump et al on Sunday.
There were other similar attacks on other leaders in other countries. None of this was in conformity with international law.
That is a very dangerous precedent.
