we took a 433 million dollar common stock option with no voting interest.

is it in the US's national interest for there to be a US owned and based semi-conductor business? i'd say unequivocally yes.

should we be propping up that company with 8 billion in grants? there's an argument to be made either way.

if we are giving them 8 billion is it too big of a bridge to cross to own 433 million in common stock with no voting rights?
