that is why you see so many transfers that are the starters. They didn't want to wait. Or they waited a year behind somebody and then took off. I think the term "redshirt," for QBs especially needs to be put on a shelf in the back. He'll have to wait at least two years. Then they could bring somebody else in front him. His "redshirt" will just give him more bargaining power when transferring.
