Can anyone explain the hype around Illinois?

I know we’re supposed to be focused on our neighbors to the west this week. But I cannot figure out how they’re billed as a top 10 team. People just assuming that Bielema is too good?

No chance they’ll make the playoffs having to beat OSU, Indiana on the road, Duke on the road, USC, and the fighting Odoms (also on the road I believe), right? The 2nd half of their schedule is a cake walk. But I don’t seem them ranked at that point.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
