I think he was exc HC. I think coaching college is a lot different. NFL you have the trades, free agents, contracts and draft to get players. They were very good at replacing players that choose to go elsewhere or were traded or let go in one of the many ways its done in NFL.

How quickly can he switch from NFL to college ball.
In college, we know what they have in recruiting, portal, NIL etc. He has to learn how to handle that which is so different from the pros.
