was in a discussion of messaging. That whenever Democrats start speaking using law and order rhetoric it actually harms them in the polls. The messaging should be pointed at Trump’s cutting funding of community violence intervention programs, cutting of drug and mental health programs, cutting of funding for victims assistance programs, cutting of funding for food assistance programs, cutting of funding for youth programs. Programs that play a role in long term crime prevention. Not the made for TV display Trump is doing.
