attended First Roar, which is the official campus welcome ceremony for incoming freshman. It was at Mizzou Arena and my kid said the whole hour was an indoctrination of kU hatred. Drinkwitz gave an intense profanity laced speech and fired up the crowd for the kU game. Cho, Gates , and the women’s bball coach all took the mic and rallied the freshman about the history and the rivalry going forward during the years to come.
For those that think games versus kU are about to end, you’re crazy. The
University is ramping up for this rivalry for another 100 years.
