It would certainly be different, that's for sure. Better would probably depend on your point of view.
It isn't exactly what you asked, but I did read an article a few weeks ago though about how the "feminism" movement in general has failed women. I don't feel like trying to find it again, but the author made some interesting points about women being less happy now than they were before the movement started. But it was a man that wrote the article and he was making some pretty broad generalizations. I just thought he had an interesting way of measuring the success of feminism by trying to look at happiness, or more accurately looking at how unhappy women are today and pointing out reasons why that might be.
