Not only does our offensive philosophy highly value mobile QB's, I just don't see Drink going w/ a starter that's not 100% committed to the program and football. Last year, Drink continued to praise Cook on how much time he spent in the film room preparing for games. I have never heard Drink praise or bring up Horn once for his preparation effort. That coupled w/ preparing for a life of baseball, no way he gets the job unless Pribula really underperforms. Additionally, listen to any of the interviews of Penn St. players talking about the work ethic of Pribula as "unmatched". This is just stuff Drink loves. Drink just wants a guy giving every ounce of energy he has to the program. I've never heard any player or coach talk about Horn in that manner.
I think Horn is a great talent and doing a great service by really pushing Pribula and making him as good as he can be in prep for the season, but I'm not buying that there is a legitimate chance Horn starts against Kansas.
