..."production vs. potential" recruiting model has been missed by some, but there are still those certain schools that will be able to land both the 5-star high school kids they always do *and* make hay in the portal. For now, that's just the way it is and they can afford to risk overpayment. For all the changes coming up in college sports, I really don't think much will look any different than it does now...nothing is being settled/solved.
