the trump has been engaged with the Russian oligarchs
in laundering their illegal money for decades.
The Russian oligarchs are not just some band of mobsters they are actually an extension of the Russian government.
This led to naturally the Russians interested in their
compromised asset succeeding at his political ambitions to further Russian interests. Which is exactly what happened.
Not oddly this is also directly related to Epstein's whacking and the pedophilia.

the trump is desperate to distract because he knows his life is in danger the more the Epstein coverup goes on.
