some official in Florida had been arrested for issuing falsified drivers' licenses. Apparently he had adjusted birth dates to make it appear that some young people were a bit older than they actually were.
In such a case, even if someone asked some young person their age for documentation, they may have been given a valid Florida ID indicating that they were 18+.
If that is really the case, I would think that it should be a little harder to prosecute someone who had generally checked & was acting in good faith on the veracity of a valid... not fake, Florida drivers license.
Of course, even then I assume there could be culpability if it was obviously fake, or the other person was drunk or drugged or coerced or whatever other extenuating circumstances may have applied.
