I watched the interview live and the senator did look befuddled for a moment, but it seems perfectly in keeping with a technical problem and transmission. The senator came back on a few moments later and the problem recurred.
The next guest interviewed had a technical issue as well.
Gee, it seems like we can't even trust yahoo news anymore.
