My favorite instance of this was the Shawnee Mission school district making SM North change their Indian mascot when the damned district is named for an indain tribe.

Someone needs to explain how Indians is any different than Vikings, Irish or Scots?

Or how Chiefs or Braves is different from warriors, monarchs, knights, cavalliers or kings?
