goal instead of running the ball with zero timeouts and 13 seconds to play and 6 yards to gain or at least be passing to the boundary or preferably the end zone.

But if this unlikely scenario were to occur, the game ends.

Even without the injury and Team A gets the first down and spikes the ball, there is going to only be time for one more play and then they kick the field goal.
