in 2026, their media rights deal goes from 57 6to 200 million. That puts them on the profitable side of the biz.

Owners make out well with the franchise value increases. Players do not get that. The NBA owners who also own the WNBA also get the benefit of overhead dilution in their businesses.

The players want a new agreement in place with the new tv deal (and increase in franchises) to get a bigger piece of the bigger pie.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
