He had relatively slim margins in the legislature & historically the party of a sitting president loses at least a little ground in the mid terms most of the time. He has also lost some good will among a significant portion of his base of supporters over the Epstein issue.

That does not bode well for the pace of his future actual accomplishments. He will be swimming upstream against a current that would have at least been less if not altogether non-existent, or even swimming with the current in his futuer endeavors had he been willing and able to fulfill his promises regarding releasing the Epstein files.

I think you are sticking your head in the sand if you deny that.
