today, you're just exhaused to here that. I get it, but its still true. Its not just relgious zealots, and this is a modern problem. You guys cant see 50 years into the past or 50 years into the future. Sure there is more conflict in the middle east in our lifetime but there are factors for that, why won't the world leave the middle east alone if they are just a bunch of desert dwellers. So if we want to be honestt, its bigger than that and plenty of secular government in the region have hurt their people. The actual fact is most of the middle east is still transitioning from colonialism, another exhausting but true thing you don't want to here. Since gaining "independence" these countries were replaced by Western puppets and the West and clearly pitted these weak and unstable former colonies against each other to keep the region ripe for the picking. Just because they are called "independent" doesnt mean they are independent when they rely on America for their existence. It's clearly a new, lets say more modern form of colonialism. The USA or any other country has zero desire for democracy to take shape there while its sitting on that mountain of oil and gas. Our lifetimes are a blip on the historical timeline, just cause there is more conflict there today doesnt mean thats the norm. There are clear reasons for the division in the middle east today, you should study it more.
