The top four teams in the SEC, Big Ten, ACC and Big 12 qualified. The top two in the remaining conference. And then any independent with at least ten wins. The winner of the SEC and Big Ten automatically reach the semifinals. The winner of the ACC and Big 12 automatically reach the quarterfinals. The remaining conference would be bracketed to serve as the final two teams in the quarterfinals. This incorporates conference championships into the playoffs and only means an addition week for the top 4 conferences.
