Collins I can understand somewhat. She's a Republican in a Democrat, left-of-center state. Conservatives don't get elected in Maine. I remind myself that having a maddening moderate Republican is better than any Democrat.

Murkowski is another story. She has the entitlement level of a Democrat. She lost the primary, ran as an independent and won. She had to flood Alaska with attack ads, and no telling where all that money came from, but she did. Alaska is a conservative state, where a conservative Republican should win. That she's still there playing Goddess of the Senate really chaps my arse.
