they're my favorite type of courses to play in the U.S. Southern Pines/Pinehurst area has some of the coolest courses I've seen the way they build into the landscape. It makes you hate midwest golf. There are a few more in the country like that in NE, WI, NJ, FL, CO, and soon to be TX.
