Watching the documentary on Stewart Cink vs Tom Watson...

holy sh*t what a journey.
Cink knocks up his gal at age 19 at Georgia Tech and he's broke with a kid on the way so he said I have to go pro. He does...
He wins the British Open, and everyone was cheering against him. Hell - I was as well at the time. Tom Watson almost pulled off the impossible, and everyone wanted to see the old man pull it off.
We all wanted to see it. It didn't happen because Cink won in a playoff. It would suck to win a Major and everyone is upset that you won. Cink got death threats, constant crap, etc...for winning a tournament.
Then his wife gets stage 4 breast cancer. Doesn't win a tournament for over a decade, and then starts ripping off tour wins 11 years later.
Loved Tom Watson's opinion as well. He says - he beat the crap out of me in the playoff. He deserved it.
