assume whatever they do is stupid, random, evil or a combination of the 3 and don't bother to do anything other than find sources that can provide a sliver of validation for that position.

This took 3 minutes to find out what's going on from what people consider neutral or even left-leaning sources.

"to keep syria destabilized" is simply lazy, biased rubbish.
