the way I understand it the pitcher, batter, or manager can initiate a challenge, but the team only gets two per game.
Now if you are right then your challenge remains unused.
All anyone has to do (of the 3) is tap their head, and it is officially a challenge.
This is on balls and strikes BTW. Will be interesting to see.
