At least for now, even the big boys (major football/basketball money behind them) are keeping things status quo and will not be using the new scholarship allowances given to other sports. In fact, there are some sports that will actually have to cut rosters down before they can even start to think about doling out more scholarships. Any additional money will *still* be going to football/basketball first, and schools will need quite a bit more time to figure out the rest. It's a mess.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
