You can be 1000% ceratin that the camp was built by a Democrat in 1926 and when purchased in 1937
Texas was a True Blue Dem state with only 1 Dems governor from its admittance to the Union in 1847 until 1979. The only exception was Edmund J. Davis in 1870 when Texas was readmitted to the Union.
Also, the Texas House was never a GOP majority from 1847-2003 (agian with the 1870 exception when Texas was readmitted to the Union).
Same with their Senators.. all Dem from 1847-1961, with the 1870 exception when Texas was readmitted to the Union.
