Just as we were in Vietnam, we are on the wrong side of this one. The citizens of the Donbas and what is generally known as Novorossiya sought self-determination to throw off the yoke of the Neo-Nazi regime in Kiev. They rebelled and set up their own governments, which resulted in military reprisals from Nazi dominated Western Ukrainian militias. These militias were organized, trained, supplied and funded by our CIA. The CIA also instigated the 2014 Maidan so-called Color Revolution to overthrown Ukraine's elected government. A civil war erupted and the newly established republics called on Russia for help to prevent an invasion of regular Ukrainian armed forces. Russia intervened on the side of the Donbas peoples and from that point on have been steadily winning on the ground.
