My understanding is that he was born in Uganda, that would make him African. His parents to my understanding are Pakistani and he moved there as a child, that would seem to make him Asian as well. Those are the two boxes he checked on his college application. When we see Asian & African we envisionsomething other than him but what he marked was factually correct.
The outage from the left is even less understandable. What the NYT reported was factually correct. Yet the left is pìssed at them for having the temerity to report it.
People are stupid.
