What kind of work? Do you really have any idea who claims Medicaid and what it takes to get it? The issue is who determines the disability. The vast majority of the people on Medicaid are children and disabled under the age of 65. They also will be on SSI and if they do work too much their SSI is reduced and it doesn't have to be by much. It isn't easy to get social security. I know a girl with autism that applied for Social Security and Medicaid and was refused, because of a 15 minute eval. completely ignored her high school records and a 2 and a half hour evaluation. This girl is very attractive and nice but has tremendous anxiety issues and has difficulty being in social settings. She presently lives with her mother in Missouri but is on Obama Care with the Medicaid expansion in Missouri. Not one size fits all in these cases.
