Funniest situation I can remember

One of the managers in my group about 10 or so years ago was always going out to lunch with a woman in the department across the hall that we all knew because we all worked together. Both of them were married.

Seemed like the typical "work husband/wife" situation. I don't think too many people thought much of it. One day an audible collection of gasps and chatter starts in the office. He had attempted to email her some cheesy note about how he loved their time together, etc. But he sent it to the whole department instead of her.
