There have been multiple shootings in and near downtown St. Louis recently. One incident involved a triple shooting where one person died and two others were injured. Another incident involved a separate fatal shooting earlier in the night on Washington Avenue. Additionally, there was a shooting where one person was killed and another injured on S. Tucker Blvd.
Specific incidents:
Triple Shooting:
A triple shooting near 7th and Cole resulted in one fatality and two injuries (one critical, one stable). The victims were found inside a car, and it's believed they drove there after the shooting.
Washington Avenue Shooting:
Around 1:20 a.m., a person was killed in the 1500 block of Washington Avenue. While shots were fired, it's unclear if the victim was shot.
S. Tucker Blvd Shooting:
One person was killed and another injured in the 400 block of S. Tucker Blvd.
Ongoing Investigations:
Police are investigating all incidents and have not identified any suspects in either case.
Detectives are gathering evidence and speaking to witnesses at the scene on S. Tucker Blvd.
Other Incidents:
A shooting in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue resulted in at least one person injured after an argument between two men.
A teen was shot and killed outside an apartment complex south of downtown.
A juvenile was shot in the 400 block of South 10th and transported to a hospital.
A man was shot in the Columbus Square neighborhood.
A man was shot in downtown, and the investigation is ongoing.
