Of course I see a difference between church bells notifying the faithful of mass times versus actual prayers being prayed out loud. I just don't know that there is a legal difference. Heck, the ice cream truck going up and down our street probably makes more noise than either. Guess we have to ban that. I am a conservative. For the government to intervene in anything, I believe there needs to be a compelling interest. I just don't see it here. I also I admit i am not familiar with the muslim call to prayer, and how long or loud it is, etc.
