Almost anyone who has an employer 401(k) has money in the market. Cumulatively, for the time Trump has been rpesident this term, the markets are flat. THey are on a major uptick right now, after a similar fall. Not all about the president, but yes he does have a reasonable effect on the markets. Markets are also very much about perception. If people in general get to the point that they believe there will not be significant tariff issues going forward, I think they will continue to rise.
