3 main climate change arguments that make eyes roll

1. The whole "if we don't do something now, earth won't be livable in a few years". The truth: earth is a little hotter than it was in 1850, but not changing at the level the climate change fear mongerers will make you believe. Actually not even close.

2. Every summer we are made to believe "this heat hits different" like it's some new extreme event. Same with storms and hurricanes. When with 5 minutes of research, you can quickly tell it's not different. For example, we're being drowned with the heat dome talk this week. Reality: This day in 1988 was WAY hotter across the country (% of the country experiencing 90 and 100+ temps was significantly higher that year).

3. Kind of linking to #2, weather is NOT climate. There is evidence of much crazier weather than we see today in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Some of the hottest recorded years in the US were in the early 1930's. And there is no trend at all in terms of the first hurricane to pop in the atlantic, despite hearing it's getting earlier every year. So individual events don't represent a trend. They represent........an individual event.
