Iran's command and control is shattered, and much of their leadership dead.
They do not have the ability remove our bases, or shoot down planes in their airspace.
You think china or russia's going to war over Iran?
Russia's having a hard time with ukraine, and their syria client got crushed. Russia doesn't have the wiggle room to invest effort in Iran.
China's better off doing nothing, and then trying to help the new iran regime rebuild in return for discount oi prices.
