So, how can we as a society address right wing violence?

Seems the right dehumanized people into nothing more than ideologies to attack and in some cases kill.
Yesterday we had a mad Christian preacher attempt multiple murders and a young man use his vehicle to try to strike a crowd.
The rhetoric of politics has long used disavowal of the person and replacing it with an enemy ideology.
How can the right regain focus on the person, and see them as another human being and not just an enemy ideology to be crushed?
I know the responses to this will be nothing more than finger pointing what abouts to the left instead of people on the right contemplating how they can change and start seeing the person, not an ideology.
