automatically assumed to be decent, hard working, sane, intelligent people.
They were seriously vetted to demonstrate that they deserved to be here.
BUT, with illegals, people who have broken our laws and many with gang affiliation of tatoos and clothing are assumed to be decent, law abiding hard working people who just want to make a better life for their families. Their families of course are not with them now.
No vetting is necessary. They are victims of some kind of oppression by somebody somewhere. Don't bother to vet, verity or certify any of that. We can trust mexicans, and chineese and yemeni males 18-29 years old. They are good people.
Why not assume they are not worthy of being here and make them prove they are worthy?
Call it due process, if that makes you feel better.
