democracy is more than just the president. We rely on the judicial system and Congress to put guard rails on the president. Congress is already weak since the GOP already fellates Trump daily and inexplicably hold the House and Senate. Of course, the GOP have a built-in advantage in both houses, since small states are overrepresented in the Senate, and actually slightly overrepresented in the House as well. Gerrymandering, while both parties do it somewhat, gives the GOP about a net 16 extra seats.
