Many of those with deportation orders were given Notices to Appear when they were caught and released. They never appeared for their day in court and judgements were made based on the information at hand--that many had criminal records prior to entering this country which should have kept them out.

But the due process crowd claims they never got their day in court.

Hard to get your day in court when you don't show up and flee to a sanctuary city where the local authorities ignore detainer requests when you get arrested for other crimes.
