I "ignored" it because you're correct. It's a different point, although there's lots of overlap there. Why do you think TheWildcat is saying fans shouldn't pay attention to it? Perhaps because it has become pretty much worthless in regards to the program's success? Isn't that pretty much my point?

Secondly, I was getting called emotional, unreasonable and criticized heavily for my take. That is, by definition, being admonished.
