Over the past few months I've noticed a decrease in efficiency at USPS. Many payments take an unusually long time to arrive. Therefore, I've begun sending the payment out the next day after I received the bill in the mail. I used to send payments out 7 to 10 days before the due date. On several occasions I've had to send the payment a second time, because my initial payment didn't arrive by the due date. In each case the initial payment eventually arrived and I ended up making a double payment for that month.
