That's the general political argument style used by many, and why conversations rarely go anywhere. People are afraid to get off their canned talking points and actually discuss anything.
The world's problems won't ease up until there are hard conversations and at times uncomfortable solutions. The people in power don't want this because they are getting theirs and the majority of people are just blindly playing follow the leader.
